Lemon Avenue (Garfield to Wood) Schedule

  • October 2022, installation of additional truck route signs, a crucial step toward managing and optimizing traffic flow.
  • February 2023, Lemon Avenue's Garfield to Wood segment is added to the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP) work plan, focusing on tailored strategies to enhance safety and livability.
  • September/October 2023, Experience improved road clarity and safety with the installation of new edge lines, a visual enhancement aimed at guiding motorists responsibly
  • Summer 2024, Designation of segment as a safety corridor (Per AB43) emphasizing our ongoing commitment to creating a secure environment for all road users.

Additional Measures:

  • December 2023, Consideration of weight limit of 3 tons to segment, a measure aimed at optimizing safety.
  • Summer 2023, Installation of Speed Radar Sign by La Mesa Police Department, strategically placed to monitor and regulate eastbound traffic.
