Improving Our Parks

In 2012, the City of La Mesa developed a Parks Master Plan to identify improvements to the parks system necessary to meet community needs for parks, open space, and urban respite areas. This 2012 plan is being updated in 2023 to include recommendations for recreation programs and parks for current and future needs.

The project goal is to create a long-term plan for updating and upgrading city parks and bringing opportunities for recreation programs for all ages.
