Vacation
After six months of continuous employment, vacation is available to employees as accumulated. Employees earn paid vacation as follows:

Sick Leave
3.692 hours per pay period (96 hours per year).
Sick Leave Conversion
Employees may convert a portion of accumulated sick leave to pay or vacation time per year. The employee is notified by Human Resources if they are eligible for this conversion.
Unused Sick Leave Reimbursement (Sworn only)
Option to convert unused sick time into added years of service.
Holiday Leave Pay
150 hours of holiday time off per year
Out-Of-Class Pay
5% additional pay for working out-of-class.
Longevity Pay
- $30/month for at least 5 years but less than 10 years of service
- $40/month for at least 10 years but less than 15 years of service
- $45/month for at least 15 years but less than 20 years of service
- $50/month for 20 or more years of service
Physical Fitness Program
Voluntary program where employees can earn up to 40 hours of compensatory time off per year.

Life Insurance City
Paid life insurance equal to employees' annual salary. Employees may purchase more life insurance at a cost of $0.95 per $10,000.00 of coverage (Maximum of $500,000.00).

457 deferred compensation plan option.
Tuition Reimbursement
